BBC Says Goodbye to Senior Account Executive, Genevieve Dumont, DMCP

After six glorious years, the BBC Family is saying goodbye to its stellar Senior Account Executive, Genevieve Dumont, DMCP.   Though parting ways is never easy, the entire BBC team wishes her well on her next journey as Senior Sales Manager at the Windsor Court Hotel.

“The decision to step down was certainly not an easy one. At BBC, my colleagues have been an extended family for me. I feel truly honored to have worked with such a creative, talented and hard-working group of individuals”, said Ms. Dumont. Indeed, the sentiment is reciprocal.

Prior to joining the BBC team, Ms. Dumont began her hospitality career at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Collection as an Executive Administrative Assistant in sales and marketing. With her drive, charisma and natural flare for sales, she quickly moved into more senior roles while working for a variety of high end luxury hotels and resorts including: the Hotel Monteleone, the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine, the Harborside Hotel Spa and Marina, the Bar Harbor Regency (both located in Bar Harbor, Maine),  and the Roosevelt, Waldorf Astoria Hotel.

In 2011, Genevieve met with CEO  & President, Bonnie Boyd, CMP, DMCP and the connection was instantaneous. Soon thereafter, she was offered a position with BBC as an Account Executive. “After I met Bonnie B. Boyd and the BBC team, I was so impressed by their professionalism and knowledge of the city and thought, one day, I would be so lucky to be on their team!  Amazingly, the Account Executive position became available and I jumped at the opportunity and the rest is history”, she commented. “I have watched Genevieve flourish beautifully in her role, professionally and personally. She has not only been a support to her valued clients, but has also been a tremendous mentor for her colleagues. In her time at BBC, Genevieve has not only exceeded the company’s annual sales goals, but also her own professional goals. Some of her accomplishments include obtaining her DMCP certification and taking on an active role as a member several key hospitality organizations including: Financial & Insurance Conference Planners (FICP), Meeting Planners International (MPI) Gulf States Chapter and the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE). “ I am most proud to have been a member of the BBC team, who create the absolute best experiences for our guests. It has truly been a pleasure to work with such a dynamic group of people and a company that continuously fosters professional growth.” , she stated.
