David Rome (Director of Sales) and Lyndi Smith (Associate Director of Sales) just returned from a successful Sales Trip to San Francisco. Our team spends a lot of time planning with our clients over email, phone, Skype…you name it! It was a treat to have some face-to-face time with clients before their programs. Here are a few reasons why we traveled across the country to visit our Bay Area clients:

  • We Champion Our Clients: BBC works to champion our clients, and our goal for this visit was just that. We wanted to bring them new ideas and to educate and inspire their teams where they feel most comfortable dreaming…in their own office. Ultimately, we hope our visit gave them the tools to shine bright.
  • On Their Turf: We know from personal experience that our most powerful brainstorms happen when we’re surrounded by our team on our turf. The BBC team goes to many event planning conferences and seminars, but nothing compares to the magic that happens when a partner joins us in staff meeting with a new idea, design, or venue—that is when we really start brainstorming. We think the same is true for our clients, which is why we wanted to chat with them in their environment.
  • Inspiration: We love seeing how other event professionals work. Our California clients have some incredible office spaces and company cultures that inspire us! We came home with a lot of great ideas on how to shape our company culture with innovation and inspiration.
  • Share the Good Word: Ultimately, we traveled across the US to spread the word that New Orleans is the best destination for corporate meeting and incentive travel. We stand behind our city as one of the greatest destinations on Earth. Our passion runs deep and honestly, when it comes down to it, we just cannot stop talking about our love for New Orleans.
