#WhyWeLoveNOLA: Jennifer Stanton, Operations Manager

WWLN_Jennifer

Jennifer Stanton was born and raised in Uptown New Orleans. She learned to love the beautiful bizarre traditions of the city at an early age. One of her favorite curiosities is the Roman Candy Man (of course it involves food). Since 1915, three generations of Roman Candy Men have parked the same mule-drawn wagon all over Uptown selling long dense taffy sticks wrapped in wax paper. And her infatuation with the New Orleans food marvels has stuck with her ever since. From Apple Fitters to Cheeseburgers, Jen knows the best in the city. She cooks Eggs Benedict every Sunday with the same impressive attention to detail that she puts into her programs. She loves a good drive-thru daiquiri and she loves New Orleans because “it’s the most unique city in the world.”
