BBC Destination Management Wins Two ADME Awards

New Orleans, Louisiana - Friday, March 6, 2009 - The 2008 Association of Destination Management Executives (ADME) Achievement Awards ceremony was recently held in San Antonio and BBC Destination Management's team won two awards!

BBC's Senior Account Executive, Nicolas Nevares, CMP, won Rising Star of the Year Award. This title is awarded to an individual who has been in the destination management industry for at least one year and a maximum of five years. It also recognizes contributions to the company's programs throughout the year.

Nicolas is President-Elect for International Special Events Society (ISES) New Orleans Chapter and also holds memberships in Society
of Incentive & Travel Executives (SITE), Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and Hospitality Education and Networking Association (HENA).  Nicolas also is heavily involved in various community organizations, specifically the Lazarus Project.

Also awarded was Best Tour Program, in which BBC's Senior Operations Manager, Karl Beverung, working with Director of Sales, David Rome, CMP, DMCP, conceptualized the program from beginning to end, working with numerous designers, architects and tour guides throughout the city to develop an unforgettable educational experience.
 
The tour program developed by BBC was an experiential tour program showcasing the city of New Orleans and focusing on historic restoration, sustainable design and visual merchandising.  It was a one-of-a-kind experience for the attendees, which was uniquely designed for their conference.
 
We would also like to acknowledge the nomination of Denise Malo, DMCP, Director of Operations, on her nomination for Professional of the Year award.
