#WhyWeLoveNola: Ashley Del Buono, Account Executive

BBC is excited to introduce its newest member of the sales team, Ashley Del Buono, Account Executive. Ashley is no stranger to the world of New Orleans tourism and hospitality!

Born and raised in New Orleans, she recently traded her Cajun moniker of Hebert for her charming Italian husband’s.

Ashley loves all things Louisiana…including its wildlife!

Early on, Ashley recognized the important role that the  hospitality/tourism industry played, particularly its economic impact  on the Crescent City.  Initially interested in advertising the city, Ashley worked on the New Orleans Tourism and Marketing Corporation account the summer following Hurricane Katrina.

“The goal was to keep the city in a positive light so that visitors would keep coming back.  After such a challenging task, I understood the importance of the New Orleans hospitality and tourism industry and knew that I had to be a part of it.” – Ashley Hebert.

After graduating with an M.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of New Orleans  in 2010, she joined the sales team at the iconic Roosevelt Hotel and in just four years moved up from her role as Sales Coordinator to Senior Sales Manager.

In addition to being extremely target-driven, Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge from the hotel world, having been selected to participate in the Hilton Worldwide’s Management Development Program, which is based on current performance and high potential for growth. At the core of her success, is the love of her city, which has enabled her to rise professionally, making her the perfect fit for the BBC Team!
