Holiday Magic in New Orleans

 Favorite Things

The world may think that the most wonderful time of the year in New Orleans is Mardi Gras but, New Orleanians know that there’s no place like home for the Holidays. While everyone has a favorite New Orleans season, no one can deny the good cheer and magic that sweeps over the city during the Holidays. Whether you’re brunching in the French Quarter or shopping down Magazine Street, you feel it. The jazz trios playing O Tannenbaum, the lights along St. Charles Avenue, and the red velvet bows neatly tide on the Jackson Square lanterns; New Orleans is radiant with heartwarming cheer during the Holidays. There are so many fun things to do around the city in December…here are just a few of our favorite things:

1) Christmas Concerts at St. Louis Cathedral

2) Celebration in the Oaks at City Park

3) Running of the Santas

4) Caroling in Jackson Square

5) Teddy Bear Tea at the Roosevelt

6) Friday Lunch in the French Quarter
