#WhyWeLoveNOLA: Jill Lambert, Account Executive

WWLN_Jill

Jill Lambert was born and raised in Metairie, LA, just outside of the New Orleans city-limits. After a short stint in California, her desire for the New Orleans laissez faire pulled her home. Just as her love of New Orleans runs thick, her site visits run long; she is always looking to squeeze in one more spot before the day is through. When she’s not parading clients around the city or standing in line for Hansen’s Snoballs, she’s trying new restaurants and traveling Uptown for some live local music at Tip’s. Her California side still shines, as she loves a fresh take on local fare and is on top of scouting out the newest juice and salad bars. She believes in Friday night date night with her husband and Sunday night family dinners. Jill’s love for her hometown is based in the simple fact that, “anything goes and we love to celebrate life.”

Favorite Bar: I love the Hermes Bar at Antoine’s but, it really depends on the occasion and where I am in the City. I also like Oak in the Riverbend, Cure on Freret Street, and Bouligny Tavern Uptown on Magazine Street

Favorite Restaurant: Clancy’s – a classic local favorite

Favorite Smell: Freshly baked King Cake

Favorite Neighborhood: It’s so hard to decide. I love Esplanade Ridge, the Garden District and Uptown and Old Metairie – each offer something special.

Favorite Parade: Krewe of Thoth

Favorite Saying: How’s ya mom’n’em?

Favorite Music Venue: Tipitina’s

Best NOLA Memory: My first Saints game after moving back to New Orleans

The perfect day in NOLA: a relaxed one spent with family and friends enjoying great food and drink

The ONE THING every visitor must do: Take a ride on the St. Charles Avenue Streetcar
